The Kongming bowl, with its double-layered, hollow construction, features an open mouth, curved belly, and a dish-like interior when viewed from above. The shallow bowl's belly is hollow, with a hole in the center of the bottom connecting to the belly. Because hot water can be poured into the interlayer for insulation, it is also called a "warming bowl." The entire bowl is decorated with blue and white porcelain; the inner wall depicts the "Lady Wang Zhaojun Leaving for the Frontier," while the outer wall features four men of varying appearances. String patterns are painted along the rim and near the foot, echoing each other. The body is white and delicate, the glaze is smooth and lustrous, and the blue and white coloring is rich and vibrant.
