During the Jiaqing period, Taiping Youxiang porcelain sculptures were decorative objects with distinct characteristics of the era. Although this piece is unmarked, it has a heavy body; the bottle on the elephant's back is bottomless and connected to the hollow elephant body; the elephant's hair and the colored ribbons and drapes on its body are all decorated with powder-colored enamel, lifelike and delicate. The various glazes are delicate, lustrous, and elegantly vibrant.
