This dish is overall in the shape of a six-petaled lotus flower, composed of six lotus petal-shaped dishes pieced together. The rim of the dish features a blue-colored painted fret pattern on the inside, cloud and dragon patterns on the inner wall, and a kirin pattern in the center. The shape is grand and regular, the patterns are intricate and complex, with a unique charm. The item has many components, and is well-preserved, which is quite rare. Assembled dishes first appeared in the late Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, reached their peak during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, and continued until the late Qing Dynasty. Assembled dishes are made by piecing together several pieces; according to the number of pieces, there are old sayings of five, seven, eight, nine, and ten. This item uses a regular hexagonal dish as the center, surrounded by six fan-shaped dishes, together forming a circle, also known as a "seven-巧盘".
