The auction item has a straight mouth, slightly everted, a long neck, and a bulging belly, resembling a "hanging gallbladder," hence called a "gallbladder vase." The entire body is covered with white glaze. The neck is adorned with interlocking geometric patterns of yingluo (Buddhist necklace) motifs extending to the shoulder. The belly is painted with Ruyi Eight Treasures patterns. The bottom center bears a six-character, two-line regular script mark in underglaze blue, reading "Made in the Great Qing Kangxi Period."
