Qing Dynasty Qianlong period, Five Blessings Jade Accessory, made of white jade. Five gourds of various sizes, with vines wrapped around them. This jade gourd piece is as white as congealed mutton fat, combining excellent material and exquisite craftsmanship, and possesses typical characteristics of jade carving craftsmanship from the Qianlong period. Gourd, also known as 'Pulu', is homophonic with 'Fu Lu' (blessings and prosperity). These five gourds are homophonic with 'Wu Fu' (five blessings), hence the naming.

Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty, "Five Blessings" jade accessory, made of white jade. Five gourds, large and small, with entwined vines. This jade gourd is as pure white as solidified mutton fat jade, combining excellent material and exquisite craftsmanship, possessing the typical characteristics of jade carving from the Qianlong period. Gourds are also known as "Pulu," a homophone for "Fulu" (blessings and prosperity). These five gourds are a homophone for "Wufu" (five blessings), hence the name. Its branches and stems are called "Mandai" (vines), a homophone for "Wandai" (ten thousand generations). Therefore, "Pulu Mandai" is a homophone for "Fulu Wandai" (blessings and prosperity for ten thousand generations), symbolizing "great fortune and great prosperity." The gourd, along with its stems and leaves, is also called "Zisun Wandai" (descendants for ten thousand generations). Furthermore, because gourds have numerous seeds, too many to count, they symbolize the continuation of progeny and abundant offspring, thus conveying the auspicious meaning of "many sons and grandsons" and "eternal stability of the nation."
