This pair of bowls features an open mouth, deep belly, and ring foot. The inside of the foot bears the four-character mark "Qianlong Nian Zhi" (Made in the Qianlong Reign). The body is delicate and translucent. Both inside and out are painted with landscape and figure scenes in famille rose enamel. In the distance, mountains are layered, stretching gracefully. The lake is wide and calm, with the sky and water blending into one color; white sails shuttle across the lake, and small boats are busy ferrying. On the bridge, two noble scholars converse lively, while a person by the river hurries with a shoulder pole. Ancient trees stand majestically among the rocks, facing the wind. Houses and pavilions are hidden in the shade of the trees, presenting a scene of beautiful lake and spring scenery. The composition of the painting is open and conveys the pure and unrestrained artistic conception of nature with a relaxed and peaceful mood.
