This lot is of substantial size, featuring a flared rim, a subtly constricted neck, a deep curved body, and supported by an inwardly carved ring foot. The exterior of the jar is entirely covered with a celadon glaze, which is light and lustrous. From top to bottom, it is impressed with repeating fret patterns, ruyi patterns, scrolling lotus patterns, and lotus petal patterns, respectively. The decorative layers are distinct, presenting a simple and elegant aesthetic. The large scrolling lotus flowers on the belly are intertwined with branches and vines, creating a full overall composition with clearly impressed patterns.
