The auction item is of a gourd shape, with double beast-head handles holding rings on its belly, and a circular foot. The bottom of the foot is applied with turquoise-green glaze, inscribed with a six-character seal script mark 'Made in the Great Qing Qianlong Period'. The foot rim is decorated with deformed lotus petal patterns. The entire outer wall is grounded with yellow glaze, on which a dragon and a phoenix are painted in Famille Rose enamels, intertwining among intertwined floral patterns. The dragon's body is winding, and the phoenix's feathers are elegant, forming a vivid and exquisite scene of dragon and phoenix dancing. It symbolizes 'Dragon and Phoenix bringing auspiciousness, and good fortune as desired'.
