The auction item comes with a lid, a beast-shaped finial, a rounded mouth, a curved belly, and a high, flared foot. The entire piece is meticulously painted with traditional auspicious motifs such as bats, peaches of longevity, and ruyi patterns in 'fencai' (famille rose) enamels, conveying the beautiful symbolism of continuous good fortune and longevity. It possesses a subtle elegance with a touch of grandeur. The inner wall is lustrously glazed in a pure white, presenting a fresh color, and the glaze surface is smooth and glossy. The base body is dry, and the foot rim is very neatly trimmed. Both the bottom of the vessel and the interior of the lid are inscribed with a six-character 'Da Qing Guang Xu Nian Zhi' (Made during the Guangxu reign of the Great Qing Dynasty) mark in regular script, written in iron red enamel. It is an excellent piece of imperial kiln ware.
