The bottle features a flaring mouth, a straight neck, sloping shoulders, a slightly curved cylindrical body that gradually tapers towards the base, and a ring foot. It is a 'Bangchui vase' newly created during the Kangxi period. The main decoration on the belly of the vessel is the 'fish transforming into a dragon' motif, additionally embellished with scroll patterns, key-fret patterns, floral patterns, and other decorative motifs. The auspicious dragon on the belly soars with its head held high between the sea and sky, accented by flaming cloud patterns, displaying an imposing aura of dominating the mountains and rivers. Carp leap among the surging waves. The 'fish transforming into a dragon' is also known as 'carp leaping over the dragon gate', symbolizing success in imperial examinations and rising to prominence and prosperity. The vessel's shape is regular and well-proportioned, the glaze is lustrous and smooth, and the color scheme is bright and elegant.
