Creditor: Hang Zhiying (1900—1947), also known as Zhiying, courtesy name Guanqun; a native of Haining, Zhejiang Province. From a young age, she loved painting. At 13, she followed her father to the Commercial Press, later establishing her own studio. She published monthly calendars, designed product trademarks and packaging, and was one of the earliest commercial artists in China. Her designs for Meili brand cigarettes, Shuangmei floral water, Yashuang cream, and Dieshuang cream are classics. Her works such as "The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl" and "Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea" are rich in traditional characteristics, while works like "Madam Liang Beats the Drum to Resist the Jin Soldiers" and "Mulan Joins the Army" are imbued with patriotic spirit. During the War of Resistance Against Japan, she studied calligraphy and painting under Fu Tienie.
