The proportions of the mouth, neck, and abdomen of this item are exceptionally well-balanced and beautiful. The bottle is painted with pink enamel eight peaches and five bats; "bat" (fu) has the same pronunciation as "fortune (fu)", and the peach symbolizes "longevity"; thus, "bat-peach" represents "fortune and longevity". This auspicious pattern featuring "bat-peach" was quite popular among official kilns during the reigns of Emperors Yongzheng and Qianlong.
