The auction item features an open mouth with a flattened rim, a curved belly, and a gradually tapering foot, exuding elegance, solidity, generosity, and compactness. The neck is adorned with a brocade pattern, with a white reserved area in the middle bearing the six-character regular script mark "Made in the Great Qing Kangxi Period". The belly is fully painted in wucai (five-color) enamel with the "Eighteen Scholars" motif. Some are appreciating paintings, some are playing chess or playing the zither, and some are discussing philosophy under a tree, their expressions serene and content, and the atmosphere relaxed and pleasant. The garden is filled with pines and cypresses, complemented by rocks, and pavilions are faintly visible. The overall composition of the painting is well-arranged and harmonious, subtly highlighting the joyful mood of the scholars who are engrossed in the landscape and detached from worldly concerns, transporting the viewer into an ethereal and distant landscape realm within a small space.
