The porcelain vase has a flared mouth, constricted neck, full shoulders, rounded belly, and a ring foot. The bottom is drilled, the body is well-trimmed, the material is solid and heavy, and the shape is upright. The entire body is adorned with underglaze blue, which has a light and pleasing color, and the coloring is stable. The mouth rim is decorated with a band of Ruyi patterns, and the foot is adorned with sea patterns. The main body depicts a powerful dragon soaring through clouds. Nine powerful dragons are winding and coiled around the neck and belly of the vase, each with two horns on its head, vertical deer-like antlers, and long whiskers extending to the sides as if looking back, or with open jaws, each with a different expression. Their manes stand erect, their eyes are wide open with anger, and their pupils are accentuated with underglaze blue, making them appear炯炯有神 (bright and piercing). The dragon bodies are agile and coiled, their scales are solid and dense, and their claws are sharp, forming a cohesive whole with the wave patterns below the vase's belly. The powerful dragons break through the sea, exhibiting a majestic and formidable presence.
