Flared rim, constricted neck, flattened globular body, ring foot, stepped base. Blue and white double-circle mark inside the foot. The decoration is divided into two layers from top to bottom. The rim and foot are each adorned with a band of string patterns. The upper layer features cloud patterns. The neck is demarcated by a string pattern, and the lower main decoration is the Bogu Eight Treasures motif. The censer's form is regular, its glaze is crystal clear and lustrous, the body is fine and white, and the blue and white coloring is vibrant, making it highly collectible. Its condition is exceptionally perfect. The Bogu pattern was drawn throughout during the Daguang reign of the Northern Song Dynasty. Emperor Huizong of Song ordered his ministers to compile and illustrate the ancient artifacts collected in the Xuanhe Palace, resulting in the thirty-volume 'Xuanhe Bogu Tu'. Later generations thus referred to paintings depicting ancient artifacts such as porcelain, bronze, jade, and stone as 'Bogu Tu', sometimes embellished with flowers, fruits, and other decorations. The 'Bogu Tu' carries the meaning of being knowledgeable about ancient and modern times and valuing elegance, often used in the residences of scholarly families or officials.
