This work is a sculpture of peasant educated youths. Two men stand on muddy ground; the man on the left is plainly dressed, wearing a headscarf, pointing forward with his left hand, walking casually. The man on the right has clear eyes and a handsome face, holding a hoe in his right hand and a sweat towel in his left, wearing a white vest with the characters "知青" (educated youth) on it. It is a classic representation of educated youth who went to the countryside to build rural areas, full of the characteristics of that era. This set of sculptures is cleverly conceived, with a smooth and flowing overall contour, and a weighty, simple style.
