This jar features a constricted mouth, broad shoulders, a tapered body below the shoulders, and a circular foot. It comes with a two-tiered pagoda-shaped openwork gilt cover. The jar body is fully painted with famille rose intertwined lotus patterns, and the belly has four circular medallions depicting landscapes and figures of the four seasons. The changing seasons present pleasant scenery. The inner wall and the inside of the foot are covered with turquoise green glaze, and the bottom bears the "Made in the Great Qing Qianlong Period" six-character three-line mark. This jar is novel in shape, brilliant in color, especially the openwork lid, which is exquisite and translucent, making the jar body appear exceptionally delicate.
