Depicted are two beautiful women with oval faces and slender eyebrows, dressed in traditional attire. The beautiful woman on the left appears to be holding a guqin, while the one on the right has a delicate and lovely face, in a posture resembling leaning on a tree, wearing a front-opening purple garment with a flowing cape and a long skirt trailing on the ground, dressed formally and splendidly. This scene is derived from the "Yingying Worshipping the Moon" scene in "The Romance of the Western Chamber", where Yingying and Hongniang are discussing matters related to the moon worship ceremony, demonstrating the protagonist's emphasis on the activity.
Blue enamel is used to outline the perforated rocks and Hongniang's top, with willow leaves rendered with color separation. In the center, a folded railing is painted with coral red, and the folded rim is decorated with broken branch floral motifs. The composition and spatial arrangement are appropriate, and the coloring is soft yet rich in layers. The picture is well-proportioned in density and sparseness, appearing fresh and elegant, displaying typical Yongzheng famille rose characteristics.
