Flambé glaze is an innovative variety developed by Tang Ying during the Yongzheng period when he supervised the Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln, imitating the Jun ware glaze colors. The color of this flambé appreciation vase is as beautiful as a ruby throughout, with red and brown colors intermingling on the body, showing strong dynamism and rich charm, categorizing it as the 'flame red' variety. Its shape is typical of Qing imperial appreciation vases: flared mouth, long neck, round bulging belly, ring foot, and graceful lines. It is relatively rare and highly precious.
