The vase features a flared rim, a constricted neck, broad shoulders, which gradually narrow below the shoulders down to the splayed foot, and a circular foot. It is entirely covered in rouge-red glaze, with a lustrous and bright surface and elegant color. The flared mouth and foot of this vessel echo each other from top to bottom, and it is named for its resemblance to a graceful standing Guanyin. The base bears a regular script "Qianlong Nian Zhi" (Made in the Qianlong Reign) seal mark.
