This pair of plates features mallow-shaped rims and footrings, gilded edges, and a pristine white body, adorned with fencai enamel depicting green landscapes. One plate is painted with Lushan Waterfall, one of the 'Ten Scenes of Jiangxi', inscribed with Li Qinglian's (Li Bai's) poem 'Viewing Lushan Waterfall'. The other plate depicts Bailudong Academy, also one of the 'Ten Scenes of Jiangxi', inscribed with Bai Letian's (Bai Juyi's) poem 'Ode to Leaving the Mountains'. The composition is well-arranged and balanced, featuring mountains, water, clouds, or mist, with poetry and painting complementing each other. The bottom bears the 'Made in the Daoguang Period of the Great Qing Dynasty' mark.
