Inscription: "Made in the Great Qing Qianlong reign" six-character seal script mark. Description: Straight mouth, short neck, full shoulders, straight belly, tapered lower body, and splayed foot rim. The lid features a male and female interlocking rim, a raised center, a flat mouth rim, and a lotus bud finial. The entire piece has an elegant and generous shape. Two small, lifelike frogs are attached to the finial of the lid. The lid surface is decorated with scrolling lotus motifs, and the rim with a band of ruyi cloud patterns. The body's mouth rim is decorated with a band of ruyi cloud patterns, the shoulder and belly with scrolling lotus motifs, the lower body with upright lotus petals, and the outer wall of the foot rim with a band of key-fret patterns. Apart from the blossoming lotus flowers and buds decorated with rouge-red enamel, all other parts are in underglaze blue. The delicate red and emerald blue complement each other beautifully, creating a delightful visual experience. Rouge-red (Yanzhi Hong) is a very beautiful and precious low-fired overglaze enamel, successfully developed in the late Kangxi period, with the rouge enamel from the Kangxi, Yongzheng, and Qianlong reigns being the most valuable during the Qing dynasty.
