Hotan white jade carving of a recumbent horse looking back, with an elegant form and smooth carving technique. The white jade is firm and lustrous, with local brown permeation, presenting an ancient and elegant style. Its limbs are tucked under its belly, and its body is plump. The eyes, mouth, nose, ears, and mane are carved with shallow relief and incised lines. The horse raises its head and looks back, with a gentle expression, and its form is accurate and lifelike. The jade is warm, pure, and of excellent quality. The horse's round eyes are outlined with shallow lines, and its mane naturally falls and hangs on both sides. Long, thin lines are carved on it with incised lines, appearing to flutter and move, with clearly visible hair. It is accompanied by a wooden base.
