The Yuan Dynasty blue-and-white porcelain vase depicting Xiao He pursuing Han Xin under the moonlight was unearthed in 1950 from the tomb of Mu Ying in Jiangjunshan, Jiangning District, Nanjing. It is currently housed in the Nanjing Museum [1]. The Yuan Dynasty blue-and-white porcelain vase, produced in Jingdezhen kilns, measures 44.1 cm in height, with a bottom diameter of 13 cm, a belly diameter of 28.4 cm, and a mouth diameter of only 5.5 cm; it is lidless, with a small mouth, a flat and thick rim, a short and slender neck, flat shoulders, a converging shoulder, a slender lower part, an outward splay near the bottom, and a flat base; the belly depicts the historical story of "Xiao He pursuing Han Xin under the moonlight"; outside the picture are five sets of decorative bands, the whole vase is elaborately decorated, and the layout of the decorative bands is well-arranged [2]. The Yuan Dynasty blue-and-white porcelain vase depicting Xiao He pursuing Han Xin under the moonlight is a rare treasure among blue-and-white porcelain from the late Yuan and early Ming dynasties, a national treasure, the "treasure of the town" of the Nanjing Museum, and one of the three wonders of Chinese porcelain. On August 19, 2013, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage included it in the "Third Batch of Cultural Relics Prohibited from Exhibition Abroad".
