The vase has a flared rim, a neck adorned with double ears, a gradually tapering drum-shaped body, and a ring foot. The base bears the four-character mark "Made in the Chenghua period". The entire body is covered with celadon glaze as the base. The outer wall is painted with vibrant pines, green bamboos, and several plum blossoms in underglaze blue and copper red. An auspicious deer holds a lingzhi in its mouth, gracefully wandering among the pine forest, lively and beautiful. "Pine", "Bamboo", and "Plum" form the "Three Friends of Winter", known for their noble character and resilience in adversity. The deer holding lingzhi symbolizes longevity and wisdom. The combination of these two elements on the same painting is extremely rare, symbolizing longevity, wealth, and integrity.
