Mark “Made in the Guangxu reign of the Great Qing Dynasty” in regular script This bowl features a flared rim and a deep, curved belly, plain and unadorned, winning solely by the pure beauty of its glaze color, returning to its original simplicity. The outer wall of the bowl is entirely covered with rouge red glaze, its color like a crimson sunset. The inner wall and bottom of the bowl are applied with white glaze, which is lustrous and milky white. Its lines are smooth, the body is thin and light, elegant and pleasing, truly a representative piece of rouge red ware.
